Report:

The Old Boys Reserves shared ten goals with early pacesetters Farleigh Rovers in a well contested match at Nobles. After the visitors spurned an early chance, Peter Udida broke through and scored after rounding the goalkeeper, however the lead was shortlived, as Farleigh equalised after the home team had lost possession deep in their own half.

For a while, it looked like the visitors would take control, however it was the Old Boys that scored next, Fergus scoring after the visitors failed to clear. Peter and Adam Hamilton then added to the scoreline putting the hosts well in control, although Farleigh pulled a goal back just before the break.

Rovers pulled another goal back early in the second half when the Old Boys defence failed to deal with a long ball into their penalty area, however Peter completed his hat-trick soon after to restore the hosts two goal advantage. Farleigh then piled on the pressure as the Old Boys tired, and a goalkeeping error saw them pull one back, and then equalise after the hosts again left a player with a free header, and despite the initial effort being well saved, the rebound was prodded home.

Both teams had chances to win, but failed to take them and the points were shared.
